Meet the Author
Taylor Alexandria Hayden
Author, artist, and creator behind Grimm’s Toys, a collection of original children’s stories and their handmade stuffie companions.
Hayden’s work combines the love of writing, visual storytelling, textile art, and the wonderfully strange characters she’s imagined since she was little. Through Grimm’s Toys, Hayden creates stories children can not only read, but hold, meet, and experience beyond the page.

More than just a reading.
A Grimm’s Toys storytime brings the characters right along with me. Children get to meet the handmade stuffies from the stories while we read, talk about the characters, and explore the ideas tucked inside each book.
Depending on the age of the group and your event, visits can include an author reading, character meet-and-greet, Q&A, creative discussion, and a behind-the-scenes look at how a story goes from an idea to a finished book and handmade character.
